As a Software Engineer III at JPMorganChase within the CCB you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure stable and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firms business objectives.
Job responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain user interfaces using React JS and TypeScript and write test cases for UI components.
- Create wireframes and UI mockups.
- Collaborate with external partners product teams and business stakeholders to gather UI requirements.
- Engage in code reviews pair programming and ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.
- Implement software solutions design development and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or resolve technical issues.
- Develop secure and high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that operate synchronously with relevant systems.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications ensuring that design constraints are met during software code development.
- Gather analyze synthesize and develop visualizations and reporting from large diverse data sets to continuously improve software applications and systems.

Required qualifications capabilities and skills

- Familiar with modern front-end technologies.
- Knowledgeable in writing unit test cases using Jest and integration tests using Cypress.
- Exposure to cloud technologies.
- Familiar with AWS-based API development using Python and AWS services such as Lambda API Gateway EC2 ECS S3 DynamoDB RDS EventBridge Step Functions and others for designing and deploying API-driven solutions.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.
- Optimize API deployments for cost-efficiency scalability and performance.
