About the Role
Our client focused on National Security is seeking a ICT Security Specialist (Assurance) with a current Positive Vetting security clearance (PV). for a 12-month contract (with extension options) to be based in Canberra (ACT).
The successful candidate will work as an ICT Security Assurance Specialist will under broad direction from the Commonwealth be responsible for a range of activities as identified below contributing to the ICT Security governance measures in the deployment test and operation of ICT systems to support the delivery of modern mobility solutions for senior government officials including network computing systems desktop delivery solutions and secure mobility solutions.
Key duties:
- Provide advice for constructing / administering deployed ICT systems within Temporary Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (T-SCIFs).
- Identify vulnerabilities and deliver planning solutions (i.e. System Security planning) to contribute to the development of policy governing T-SCIF design and construction.
- Review site plans undertake inspections for compliance with Australian Government security protocols including but not limited to the ISM PSPF ASHS DSPF.
