Job Description
M365 Support Specialist SCCM and Intune - SYDNEY
We are seeking an experienced M365 Support Specialist to join our clients IT operations team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 administration SCCM and Microsoft Intune with strong troubleshooting skills a proactive mindset and a passion for delivering seamless user support.
This role plays a key part in supporting a secure efficient and user-centric modern workplace environment for a large enterprise based in Sydney.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 or 3 support for M365 applications including Exchange Online Teams SharePoint and OneDrive
- Administer and support SCCM infrastructure including software packaging patching and deployment
- Manage and support Intune for mobile device and endpoint management
- Troubleshoot user issues related to Microsoft 365 suite endpoint devices and system access
- Maintain compliance with security and operational standards
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures
- Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes such as device setup and user provisioning
- Monitor and resolve tickets through the ITSM platform such as ServiceNow
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support with a focus on Microsoft 365 environments
- Proven experience with SCCM also known as Configuration Manager and Microsoft Intune
- Strong understanding of Azure Active Directory conditional access policies and security baselines
- Solid PowerShell scripting skills for automation and troubleshooting
- Experience with Windows operating systems such as Windows 10 and Windows 11 application deployment patching and image management
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude
- Experience working in ITIL-based environments is preferred
Preferred Certifications:
- Microsoft 365 Certified Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified Endpoint Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified Security Compliance and Identity Fundamentals
- ITIL Foundation certification is a plus
Work Eligibility:
- Must be based in Sydney and available to work onsite as required
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency preferred for government or secure clients
