Job Description
Infosys is seeking a Network Engineer. The Network Team is responsible for the planning Infrastructure and ongoing maintenance of the client network: design implement lead and support the networks for network infrastructure.
Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Indianapolis IN or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
At least 2 years of experience in a Network support role
Hands on experience with Cisco routing and switching platforms and supporting large scale-out network
Incumbent must make themselves available during core business hours and On-call rotation
Provide accurate clear concise documentation and assistance to Service Operations
Support WAN connections to ATI commercial endpoint devices.
Work closely with network team to support all client network requirements
Create documentation to project teams peers and network support organizations.

Preferred Qualifications:
Working Knowledge of:
IP networking such as SDWAN MPLS and VPN
Network hardware including Cisco routers and switches
IP routing protocols including EIGRP OSPF and BGP
Cisco encryption technologies (IPSec SSL) standby protocols HSRP and VRRP and network address translation (NAT)
VRF and VNF
NSX
Extraordinary Planning Project Management Coordination and Analytical skills
Hands-on experience in working in Global Delivery Model with onsite/offshore resources
Exceptional Organizational Skills
Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently
Readiness to demonstrate a proactive attitude
Solid attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone email or face to face.
