St. Paul Academy and Summit School seeks candidates for the position of Girls Head JV Basketball Coach.
About St. Paul Academy and Summit School:
St. Paul Academy and Summit School (SPA) is a coeducational non-sectarian college preparatory day school serving more than 920 students in kindergarten through grade 12. Our two campuses are located approximately a mile apart in St. Paul Minnesota serving Grades K-5 on our Goodrich Campus and Grades 6-12 on our Randolph Campus. The school draws students from St. Paul Minneapolis and throughout the eastern and western suburbs.

Salary Range: $4300 - $4600
Description:The Girls JV Head Basketball Coach will work closely with the Girls Varsity Head Coach in the SPA basketball program. Season begins November 10 2025 and continues through early March 2026.
Candidates will be required to demonstrate strong organizational skills effective communication skills with students other coaches and parents teach and develop essential basketball skills display positive game conduct and be able to develop individual players abilities in addition to encouraging dedication to teamwork. Candidates should support the mission of SPA and be able to contribute to the life of the School outside of the classroom.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Creating a positive environment that promotes good sportsmanship towards players officials spectators and teammates
- Assist with instruction of players in rules regulations and techniques of basketball
- Organize and directs individual and small group practice activities
- Assess players skills monitor players during competition and practice
- Assist with determining game strategy
- Individual player development
- Assist with transportation
- Tracking statistics
- Creation of scouting reports
- Follows established protocol in the event of an injury
- Participates in special activities to include parents night banquets and award ceremonies
