Job Expectation:
The security risk analyst will primarily focus on supporting and coordinating the development maintenance and continuous improvement of the information security risk management processes. This includes contributing to the tooling and service activities of the process to ensure they remain effective and aligned with organizational needs.
The individual will collaborate closely with teams from various departments facilitating the coordination of risk management activities across functions and also will be responsible for ensuring smooth execution of process activities facilitating communication between internal teams and overseeing the successful delivery of our service activities.
Key Responsibilities:
The security risk analyst will be responsible for:
Process Governance and Compliance Support:
Support the development documentation and enforcement of cyber risk management policies and procedures.
Help maintain process governance frameworks ensuring adherence to regulatory and industry standards.
Facilitate ongoing process improvement initiatives to enhance risk management maturity.
Cyber Risk Tooling Management:
Support to manage and optimize cybersecurity risk management platforms.
Configure tools to support cyber risk workflows reporting and automated alerts.
Integrate risk tools with existing security infrastructure and business systems.
Monitor tool performance troubleshoot issues and liaise with the development team for resolution.
Risk Analytics:
Consolidate and validate risks from multiple sources to create an integrated risk landscape view.
Establish and maintain alignment between enterprise risk and security risk management frameworks.
Prepare and present detailed risk reports and insights to stakeholders and governance forums.
Support risk prioritization and treatment plan development based on business impact.
Develop solutions to ensure Risk Treatment Plan cohesiveness and reconciliation across assessments.
Enhance the risk framework to manage risk lifecycle provide ways to compute residual risk and risk level projection.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
Work closely with IT security compliance and business units to align cyber risk efforts with organizational goals.
Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to translate risk data into actionable insights.
Support cross-functional projects related to cyber risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
Risk Consolidation and Reporting:
Consolidate risk information from multiple risk sources and security tools for comprehensive reporting.
Support in creating linkage maps that connect operational risks with tactical and strategic risks and also enterprise risks.
Qualification & Experience
General Experience: 3-6 years in cybersecurity or IT risk management roles.
Technical Expertise:
Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with information security concepts frameworks (e.g. NIST ISO 27001 EBIOS RM) and regulatory requirements.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex datasets identify patterns and trends and transform data into actionable insights.
Communication Skills: Effective communication skills for coordinating risk activities training end users on processes and tools and reporting risk posture to management and stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to anticipate issues and devise strategies to mitigate them.
