Job Description

The Role

As anOperational Risk Analyst youll play a key role in optimising performance and reducing risk across ENGIE Retails operational business. Youll be responsible for gathering and analysing data identifying potential risks and recommending improvements to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment enjoys problem-solving and is passionate about driving continuous improvement through data and insight.

About You

Youre analytical detail-oriented and proactive with a strong understanding of operational risk and a passion for improving business processes.

  • Experience in a similar role ideally within a deregulated industry such as energy.
  • Strong understanding of operational risk principles and project risk/issue management.
  • Excellent data collection and analysis skills with a high level of numeracy and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience contributing to change projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Proficient in tools such as Microsoft Office Power BI JIRA and other data visualisation platforms.

Location

  • Based at our office in Southbank Melbourne
  • Hybrid working arrangement with flexibility between office and remote work
  • Regular presence at our ENGIE office is required for cross-functional collaboration
