Job Description
The role
As Senior Content Designer it will be your responsibility to shape the future of personal finance by executing a consistent SoFi voice throughout the experience leveraging content frameworks that set a high standard for excellence and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary set of stakeholders. Youll focus on one or more product areas alongside Product Designers Researchers and larger cross-functional teams for those areas. Additionally youll coordinate with other Content Designers Marketing writers and teams to bring the best holistic experience to life for our members.

Responsibilities
- Drive content creation across a number of concurrent work streams within one or more product areas including new features improvements and optimizations.
- Leverage and contribute to content style guides and repeatable content frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with Designers Researchers Marketing Creatives and Brand Strategists to iterate and drive clear solutions that bring SoFis voice to live in product.
- Develop effective solutions based on research member insights and industry best-practices (across finance and tech)
- Present content solutions and clearly communicate design intent through documentation and presentations
- Collaborate with other content designers working on other product areas to drive alignment and consistency across the entire user experience
- Share work early and often for wide visibility and alignment
Qualifications and Experience
- 5 yrs experience of experience working in content design / UX writing roles or highly related fields
- Strong point of view on voice tone formatting etc.
- Ability to leverage and work with a wide range of tools (ie Figma CMSs etc.)
- Strong track record in leverage content design best practices across software products
- Collaboration skills across cross-functional teams including product management engineering and marketing
- Track record in leveraging user research user needs and product data to make informed design solutions
- Track record for delivering end to end solutions with cohesive language and patterns from initial concepts to launch
- Experience presenting work and rationale to stakeholders and advocating for user needs in the context of business goals
- Experience working in a highly collaborative fast-paced agile environment using tools like Jira and Confluence
- A portfolio URL or PDF to submit alongside your application with examples of content design work
