Job Duties
To analyze revise and assist in the development of policies procedures guidelines and other protocol documents in compliance with Department of Corrections (DOC) state and federal requirements. To communicate with DOC managerial and executive staff to provide and receive information applicable to directives procedures attachments forms guidelines and other protocol documents. To assist and train DOC employees in the revision and development of policies procedures guidelines and other protocol documents. To maintain up-to-date information on the operating procedure database. To assist with special projects assigned to the Policy and Initiatives Unit.
Minimum Qualifications
Extensive knowledge of planning and analysis; extensive knowledge of administrative methods and project management strategies excellent written and oral communication skills; advanced computer skills; demonstrated ability to align and maintain objectives with the Departments mission and goals. High school diploma.
Additional Considerations
Experience in developing and interpreting procedures. Knowledge of applicable audit standards regulations and state and federal laws. Public Safety experience. Advanced skills in Word Excel Access and Adobe Pro. Experience or training in public administration.
