Main purpose of the position:

Become part of our new ISS Finance Service Center office in Gdask. As aPTP Intern you will play a key role in supporting the Procure-to-Pay (PTP) process for ISS by ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices. You will work with automation tools validate invoice data and collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance and efficiency in invoice handling.

As ISS Finance Service Center we provide Finance & Accounting services to European countries. Core services include cover Accounting (RTR) Customer billing banking & reporting (OTC) and Accounts Payables activities (PTP). ISS FSC is on an exciting journey to expand the range of services provided along with a wider range of PTP activities.

What will you do:

• Process incoming supplier invoices
• Train the OCR tool to automate the processing and recognize key invoice fields
• Receive and import PDF invoices via email
• Validate invoice content against legal and ISS-specific requirements
• Match valid invoices to existing POs sub-systems
• Forward incomplete or incorrect invoices to the ISS PTP team for investigation and manual allocation
• Redirect non-invoice emails (e.g. payment reminders remittance notes) to appropriate recipients with a short description

Who will you work with:

• PTP teams suppliers internal stakeholders Managers and system support teams

Professional skills you possess:

• Interest or education in Finance area
• Basic understanding of the PTP process
• Familiarity with invoice elements and legal requirements
• Experience with ERP and/or automation tools (e.g. Tungsten/Kofax/Coupa) is a plus
• Basic German language skills is a plus
• Good command of English (spoken and written) - min. B1 level
• Proficiency in MS Office especially Excel
