Job Purpose:
The Food & Beverage Hostess is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming first impression for guests. She ensures smooth guest seating manages reservations and supports the team in delivering excellent service to enhance the guest dining experience.
As F&B Hostess you are expected to:
- Greeting guests warmly and courteously as they enter the venue.
- Escort guests to tables and present menus.
- Manage table assignments and waiting lists using the reservation system.
- Accommodate special seating requests whenever possible.
- Answer telephone calls and respond to guest inquiries in a professional manner.
- Take and confirm reservations ensuring accuracy in guest information.
- Communicate effectively with restaurant staff regarding guest preferences and special requests.
- Maintain a neat well-groomed and professional appearance at all times.
- Monitor dining room activity to ensure efficient seating and guest satisfaction.
- Thank guests upon departure and invite them to return.
- Keep records of guest preferences and feedback.
- Assist in preparing reports on guest volume and feedback for management.
- Maintain cleanliness and order at the hostess station and entrance area.
- Work closely with waitstaff kitchen and management to ensure seamless service.
- Support the restaurant team during peak hours and special events.
- Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
- Fluent in English and Russian
- Knowledge of reservation systems is an advantage.
