About the Channel Business Development Manager:
MarketStar is looking for a Business Development Manager to maintain and grow partner sales through adoption and participation in HPE and Juniper partner programs. This position supports business development as the liaison between HPE and Juniper Partner Account Managers which share already onboarded partners. Activities in this role include marketing and data analytics tracking program participation and delivering demonstrable reseller growth through both programs.
Location: Ogden UT - Hybrid
What Will You Do
Work closely with internal stakeholders including global program management regional leaders and Partner Account Managers to ensure effective partner adoption and participation in HPE and Juniper partner programs.
Establish the basis for cross-sell upsell and co-marketing by partners taking advantage of a broader joint networking portfolio and can extend to data center and private cloud.
End to end channel program management including joint (HPE-Juniper-Partner) business plan training support and guidance to submission working with Partner Account Managers.
Facilitate MDF investments and help move deals through the sales funnel in partnership with the Partner Account Managers.
Be familiar with prescriptive learning paths and strategic sales plays in both HPE and Juniper to guide partner enablement based on capabilities and focus in Joint Business Plan.
Oversee around 50 channel account transitions including progress and needs for success.
Prepare and review reporting from a monthly dashboard to track progress vs. targets identify opportunities to drive growth and to identify themes in the business.
Internally and externally provide partner sentiment insights including product feedback program feedback key industry learnings etc.
Identify partners with strong program success and enthusiasm for growth to create case studies and examples for replication and scalability.
What Will You Need to Succeed
Solid experience in the reseller channel in sales training or technical areas.
Experience managing and supporting channel accounts through program enablement.
The ability to work independently while staying on task and navigating a number of competing priorities.
Proficiency with using Microsoft Outlook Microsoft Teams Microsoft PowerBI in addition to using and creating reports leveraging Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to quickly ramp to be conversant on the networking products for both HPE and Juniper portfolios.
Track record for providing live demos and enablement sessions with partners and internal stakeholders.
Experience in communicating trends insights and needs to a variety of stakeholders with focus on resolution to customer needs and challenges.

The hourly pay for this position is $28.85. This pay structure may also include a variable bonus component of $10000.00 annually. There are several factors to consider including but not limited to the roles responsibilities experience location education/training internal equity and key skills.
