We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a commercially adept and dynamic individual to contribute to the success of our Europe Central (EUC) region as our Senior Manager Channel Excellence driving strategy and execution in collaboration with commercial partners and key in-market retailers. Core Responsibilities

Customer Category Responsibilities:

  • Work with the most strategic customers to build substantial relationships aligned to a 3-year category development vision turning shopper insight into action by developing customised category strategies for priority customers to improve the shopper experience.
  • Localise projects such as Space Taxonomy and Expansion ensuring insights and initiatives generated drive continuous improvements.
  • Be an ambassador for top customer strategy the planning processes as well as building these into the customer plan (e.g. product previews and business planning)
  • Guide key customers with ongoing learning through experimentation audience knowledge connected to customer shopper research.
  • Support customer expansion utilising regionally prioritised new business opportunities across channels that help equip KAMs to build storylines that attract new business.

Business Unit Channel Responsibilities:

  • Develop and communicate internally a clear category deployment implementing category drivers through an agile test-and learn approach to drive adoption of processes such as the assortment optimisation process.
  • Partner with trade marketing to implement an audience testing roadmap that is aligned to customer initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Global Insights other markets and channels to take shopper experience findings and equip commercial teams.

The role sits within a newly formed channel structure with the Regional Commercial Development team playing a pivotal role in realising our strategic goals and driving the channel and retail excellence agenda across key local customers to enhance sustainable consumer sales impact.

Do you have what it takes

  • Proven track record in commercial roles with a channel and category focus with strong business performance.
  • In-depth knowledge of the retail and channel landscape in the local markets.
  • Experience in a large international organization ideally with a regional or multi-market remit with expertise in sales processes and customer execution
  • Strong commercial competence with the ability to form relationships and influence across levels of seniority.
  • Effective collaboration skills with internal and external partners.
  • Strategic proactive and pragmatic approach to seeing opportunities with a strong analytical mentality turning insights into actionable plans.
  • An ability to work 3 days from our office in Munich (2 days from home)
  • Fluent in German as well as proficient in English both written and spoken
