The Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Accountant the Finance Support Officer manages Councils Creditors / Accounts Payable function ensuring supplier payments are accurate timely and compliant with Council policies. You will process invoices resolve discrepancies maintain supplier records and provide guidance to staff and suppliers delivering excellent customer service.
The ideal candidate holds a Certificate IV or equivalent experience in finance or business and has practical accounts payable experience working collaboratively within a team. Knowledge of best practice procedures and a strong customer service focus are essential.
To succeed in this role you will require excellent organisation attention to detail and confidence with financial systems and Microsoft Office especially Excel. Strong communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines while supporting colleagues will be key.

Annual salary of $70451 to $80278 pro rata depending on the hours worked (plus super).
