Description

To perform the day-to-day finance activities within the Global Financial Services General Ledger team. Maintaining relationships with the served sites while performing the daily financial and accounting business processes of the Global Financial Services with a focus on standardization while delivering excellent customer service.
Provide timely and professional services that support the Global Financial Services (GFS) SLA ensuring that the monthly US GAAP financials for the country are prepared accurately and on time. Drive improvements in execution and provide training and development to other colleagues. Support the Accounting Manager to maintain and develop the GFS processes and services.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Financial Business Partnering

  • Ensure financial integrity and timely month-end close into HFM covering P&L balance sheet working capital and headcount.
  • Perform variance analysis (monthly quarterly annual) and deliver financial reports including reconciliations account and income statement analysis.
  • Prepare and analyze key business metrics such as bookings sales backlog and cost center performance (SG&A CGS).

Balance Sheet & P&L Management

  • Own balance sheet reconciliations (cash prepaid fixed assets accruals); investigate and resolve reconciling items promptly.
  • Conduct regular financial reviews with Accounting Manager and site teams; ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies.

Business Intelligence & Analytics

  • Develop dashboards reports and predictive models to support data-driven decisions; identify trends risks and opportunities.
  • Support onboarding of new sites and engage with internal and external auditors for local and Europe-wide audits.

Knowledge Management & Training

  • Train and supervise GFS colleagues locally and remotely; maintain onboarding programs and e-learning materials.
  • Contribute to documentation standards and promote a culture of continuous learning and process consistency.

Continuous Improvement & Projects

  • Improve efficiency by automating processes and analyzing critical metrics; coordinate with AP/AR and systems teams to improve execution.
  • Support finance projects and integrations as required; flexible for occasional weekend/public holiday work and travel (up to 5%).

For This Role You Will Need:

  • University or equivalent degree in Accounting Finance or Business Administration and/or Professional Accountancy Qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA etc.).
  • Fluent English language skills; verbal reading and writing. Other European languages represent an advantage.
  • Minimum 5yearswork experience for a large multi-national organization.
  • Experience working in a matrix structure would be of an advantage.
  • Strong communication interpersonal and influencing skills in support of organizational change
  • Knowledge of OracleSAP or Syteline together with HFM preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel POWER BI and PowerPoint skills.
