Team Structure

The HRIS team is part of the overall Applications team with around 20 people working on a global scale ensuring the smooth operations of all business systems based on the internal clients needs and specifications. The Senior HRIS Analyst will report to the People Systems addition the Senior HRIS Analyst will closely liaise with the wider HR and IT teams across the globe in order to deliver a high standard of the service.

The HR function comprises of 40 people globally and is responsible for the management of all matters concerning the employment and development of our people. This involves guiding and supporting partners managers and all employees alike as well as supporting the creation of an inclusive and diverse environment enabling our people to thrive. This includes:

Implementing our people and talent strategy in line with business objectives

  • Resourcing talent and career management
  • Reward (financial and non-financial) strategy
  • Policy procedures setting and the practical application of these across the business.

Main Responsibilities

  • Workday System Administration. Configure maintain and troubleshoot Workday modules (Core HCM Time & Absence Performance Management UK Payroll)
  • Business Process Optimization. Analyse and streamline HR processes through system enhancements automation and best practices.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support for Workday issues including researching and resolving end user issues. Serve as the go-to subject matter expert.
  • Data Management & Reporting. Ensure data integrity perform regular audits and development of reports and dashboards.
  • System Enhancements. Participate in Workday-related projects including new module implementations upgrades integrations and change.
  • Stakeholder Management. Partner with HR Payroll Finance and IT teams to gather requirements provide solutions and deliver training as needed.
  • System Security. Manage user access roles and security permissions in accordance with company policies and compliance requirements.
  • Documentation. Create and maintain system documentation and user guides.
  • Vendor Management. Liaise with Workday support and third-party vendors to resolve issues and implement new features.
  • System maintenance. Assisting in the review testing and implementation of HR system upgrades or patches.
  • Support other people systems - SABA (LMS) Icims (ATS) Darwin (Benefits) Pirical)
  • Maintains awareness of current trends in HR systems with a focus on product and service. development delivery and support and applying key technologies.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Attributes/Skills Required

  • BA/MSc or an equivalent degree in HR or IT or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years hands-on Workday experience with configuration skills in two or more modules (e.g. Core HCM Time & Absence Performance Management UK Payroll).
  • Experience with Workday business processes design and configuration
  • Experience in Workday reporting using Advanced Reports Calculated Fields
  • Experience with Security configuration and role management
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and recommend effective solutions.
  • Experience participating in HRIS projects including requirements gathering testing and deployment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work globally and cross-functionally and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Creation/configuration of reports and data analysis data auditing
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail especially with sensitive HR data.
  • Strong knowledge of the overall MS package mainly Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of GDPR standards.
  • Act as a SME / Go-To Person
  • Delivery of training to non-savvy system users.
  • Able to gather requirements information and deliver outcomes.
  • Fluent in English in both oral and written.
  • Workday certification(s) in relevant modules.
  • knowledge of any of the following platforms; Icims (ATS) Cornerstone SBX (SABA) Panopto Pirical POD (Diversity) and Darwin (Benefits).
  • Experience in Data analytical and data visualisation tools Power Bi/Power Query
  • Previous experience working within a law firm desirable.
