Pay Rate: $39.50/hour (with potential increases through additional training)
License Required: Must hold a valid Millwright License
About the Role
As a Licensed Millwright at Cargill youll play a key role in maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where your mechanical expertise will directly support food production.
What You Need
Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
Valid Millwright License
Minimum age: 18 years
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in extreme temperatures
Able to work overtime weekends holidays and various shifts
Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
Able to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
Able to work in confined spaces
What Youll Do
Perform general maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
Operate motorized vehicles and equipment
Follow all safety food safety and environmental regulations
Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Welding certification or other trade experience
Forklift certification
Familiarity with MRO/MRP systems
Knowledge of predictive and preventative maintenance
