UnityPoint Clinic is actively recruiting a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Electrophysiology Cardiology team in Waterloo Iowa. UnityPoint Health Allen Hospital is a 204-bed community hospital serving the Cedar Valley. Allen Hospital is the busiest hospital in the Cedar Valley. We care for more inpatients outpatients emergency patients and cardiac patients than any other hospital in our 10-county service area. United Medical Park and Prairie Parkway offer outpatient care in facilities that are built for your comfort and convenience.

- 16-bed ICU and 31-bed ED with Level 3 Trauma Center
- Utilizes EPIC as an electronic health record both for inpatient and outpatient services.
Responsibilities
- Outpatient-focused schedule: MondayFriday 8:00 AM5:00 PM
- No call nights or weekendsInpatient rounding alongside EP physician as needed
- Dedicated clinic support team: 1 nurse and 3 exam rooms per provider
- Average daily patient volume: 1620 patients
Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Cardiac background preferred but not required
- Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of IA
- Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
- Eligible to work in the United States
