Senior Supply Chain Specialist
Huntsville AL Full-Time Aerospace & Defense

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to support and enhance our procurement and subcontracting processes. This role is ideal for someone with strong government contracting experience a collaborative mindset and a passion for mentorship and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will support cross-functional teams drive strategic sourcing and help build scalable supply chain practices as EO continues to grow.
This position is in-office based in Huntsville AL.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide procurement and subcontracts support across multiple programs
Negotiate pricing and terms and conditions with suppliers and subcontractors
Evaluate risks and develop procurement and subcontracting strategies
Manage supplier relationships to ensure on-time delivery and quality performance
Provide mentorship and training for junior procurement staff
Ensure compliance with procurement policies FAR/DFAR and applicable regulations
Develop and monitor supply chain analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Support cross-functional projects with data analysis and supply chain insights
Required Qualifications:
5 years of experience in procurement subcontracts or supply chain for government prime contracts
5 years of experience administering compliance policies and procedures including FAR/DFAR
Experience negotiating pricing terms and conditions
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience working with internal and external stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Must be a U.S. Person under ITAR/EAR regulations (22 C.F.R. 120.15)
Willingness to travel domestically up to 10% for cross-training
Preferred Qualifications:
5 years of experience directly managing suppliers
Experience overseeing supplier quality and delivery performance
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field
Education & Experience:
Typically 5 years of related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree preferred but not required.
