Position Summary
As a Peeler Operator youll play a vital role in our potato processing operations. Youll monitor operate and adjust equipment to wash and peel potatoes ensuring the best product quality for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Sanitation:Maintain a clean and safe work area every day and during downtime.
- Data Entry:Accurately input data into the Infinity database system.
- Process Monitoring:Check and adjust potato levels in holding hoppers.
- Equipment Oversight:Monitor and optimize equipment performance in the peeler area.
- Forklift Operation:Operate forklifts safely following company policies.
What Were Looking For
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Ability to obtain McCain Forklift Certification
- Willingness to learn touch-screen computer systems and Infinity Database software
- Basic language and math skills
Physical Requirements
- Constant:Stand walk reach with hands and arms
- Frequent:Use hands stoop kneel crouch crawl talk hear; regularly lift/move up to 25 lbs occasionally up to 50 lbs
- Occasional:Sit climb balance taste or smell
