Job Description
Join our team today! We are seeking skilled Millwrights to fill full-time positions in a well-established paper company. This is a Direct Hire opportunity on 2nd and 3rd shifts with competitive pay of $35.02 per hour and comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications:
- Current Journeymans card required.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble install repair and dismantle industrial machinery and heavy equipment (pumps conveyors bearings).
- Read blueprints align machines and equipment using various tools.
- Perform root cause analysis identify potential problems and execute corrective actions.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures participating in plant-wide safety housekeeping and continuous improvement processes (Operational Excellence Lean Manufacturing etc.).
- Ensure the reliability of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors pneumatic tools conveyor systems and production machines.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions utilizing mechanical electrical PLC pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts using rulers calipers micrometers and other measuring instruments.
- Remove defective parts by dismantling devices using hoists cranes hand and power tools; welding machining and fabrication experience is a plus.
- Contribute to team effort by achieving performance metrics.
- Comply with all OSHA safety and health regulations.
- Fulfill any additional reasonable requests deemed necessary by management.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of related experience.
- Working knowledge of hydraulics pneumatics and plumbing.
- MIG TIG and STICK welding skills.
- Mechanical aptitude including pump rebuilding bearing installation and the ability to read a micrometer.
- Skills in operating equipment such as forklifts personnel lifts etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment demonstrating a positive attitude and minimal supervision.
- Working knowledge of PLCs.
