Key job responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive financial models and performance tracking metrics that provide strategic insights for Prime Videos leadership
- Partner with global finance teams to drive precise forecasting budgeting and variance analysis across diverse business segments
- Prepare strategic analyses reports and recommendations that directly influence business strategy and investment decisions
- Manage and report on headcount and operating expenses with meticulous attention to detail
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support data-driven decision-making processes

- Bachelors degree in finance accounting business economics or a related analytical field (e.g. engineering math computer science)
- 3 years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
- 2 years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- Experience building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- MBA or CPA
- 3 years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models analysis and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g. financial savings operational improvements or customer benefits) experience
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting budgeting and variance analysis and data interpretation of results
- Strong track record of managing deliverables from multiple partner teams to meet challenging deadlines
- The ability to self-motivate in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment with competing deadlines
- Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to work with a high degree of autonomy.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
