Job Summary (ABAP Developer Job Code: 13560)
- Position: ABAP Developer (Contract Bengaluru)
- Experience Required: 6 to 10 years
- Key Technical Skills:
- ABAP (including Object-Oriented ABAP)
- HANA ABAP (CDS Views AMDP RAP Framework)
- ODATA Services
- RICEFW (Reports Interfaces Conversions Enhancements Forms Workflows)
- Enhancements (BADI User/Customer Exits Enhancement Framework)
- EDI-IDOC Web Services BAPI/RFC
- Smart Forms and Adobe Forms
- ABAP Data Dictionary
- Debugging Root Cause Analysis Performance Tuning
- SAP incident resolution code reviews and documentation
- Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robust ABAP solutions aligned to business requirements
- Ensure code quality and adherence to SAP standards
- Prepare and review technical design documents
- Perform peer code reviews and unit testing
- Support testing and test data preparation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project delivery
- Provide accurate development effort estimations
- Mentor junior developers and review their deliverables
- Willingness to work in shifts as per project needs
- Soft Skills & Leadership:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive self-driven energetic and enthusiastic
- Experience in team leadership or mentoring
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable with presentations and discussions
- Familiarity with SAP implementation support and upgrade projects
- Skilled in effort estimation and SDLC awareness
- Other Requirements:
- Ability to visualize and document technical process flows
- Commitment to timely delivery of enhancements
- Participation in group discussions and project meetings
