Job Description
Job Title: Senior Architect
Location: Greensboro NC (Onsite)
Job Type: Full-Time Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and produce detailed construction documentation that accurately reflects architectural design intent
- Oversee project phases from concept development through construction administration
- Conduct site evaluations and provide construction observation to ensure design quality and adherence to codes and safety standards
- Collaborate with in-house team members and external engineering consultants to coordinate multi-disciplinary efforts
- Ensure that all projects are executed on time within budget and meet client expectations
- Participate in proposal development and client presentations
- Develop and maintain client relationships and support business development for future project opportunities
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of local building codes zoning and regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of post-graduate architectural experience including project management
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture from an NAAB-accredited program
- Licensed Architect in NC (or actively on the path to licensure)
- Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with Revit is a strong plus
- Strong design documentation and construction phase experience
- Excellent communication organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Creative detail-oriented and solution-driven professional
