Job Description

Position: Lead Automation Quality Engineer
Location: Charlotte NC / Atlanta GA / Toronto Remote
Duration: 6 months
Visa: gc or citizens
What Youll Need to Have:
Strong backend/data QA automation lead experience
5-7 years in QA automation or software engineering in test (SDET)
Proficient in Python or JavaScript for test framework/tool development
Strong SQL and data validation skills especially with Microsoft SQL Server
Experience testing RESTful APIs and microservices
Familiarity with containerized deployments and AWS services (S3 Lambda ECS/Fargate CloudWatch)
CI/CD integration experience (CodePipeline Azure DevOps)
Knowledge of TDD/BDD implementation
Ability to work in Agile environments with incomplete information

Preferred Skills:
Exposure to event-driven architectures (SQS SNS Step Functions)
Experience with data mocking/stubbing frameworks
Basic UI testing experience with Playwright or Cypress
Background in financial services or regulated data environments
