Job Description

RN - Intermediate Care Unit / Telemetry (Permanent Role)

Location: College Station TX 77845
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality evidence-based nursing care to patients in the IMCU/Telemetry unit.
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient status.
  • Administer medications treatments and IV therapy in accordance with established protocols.
  • Coordinate with physicians specialists and healthcare team members to plan and implement patient care.
  • Accurately document patient assessments interventions and responses in the medical record.
  • Educate patients and families on care plans recovery processes and discharge instructions.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies procedures and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required must be obtained within 30 days of hire if not current.
  • Previous experience in IMCU Telemetry Step-down or Acute Care setting.
  • Strong critical thinking communication and time management skills.
