We have partnered with a Manufacturing company in the Columbia MO area to provide them with a Application Developer. Please review the description below and let us know if you are interested.
Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Application Developer:
#1. BS in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field
#2. 3 5 years of experience in application development
#3. Mobile app development (Android/iOS)
#4. Knowledge of application security cloud platforms internet protocols UI/UX databases and SQL
#5. Strong problem-solving and project management skills
#6. Ability to manage multiple projects with tight timelines
#7. Proficient in Microsoft Office
Requirements for the Application Developer:
- A bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a closely related discipline is required
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in designing and building applications
Key Competencies & Technical Expertise
- Solid project coordination capabilities within a development-focused setting
- Familiarity with core engineering methodologies such as DFMEA DVP&R is a plus
- Proficient in the following areas:
- Development of mobile applications for Android and/or iOS platforms
- Securing applications through industry best practices
- Working with cloud-hosted systems and services
- Understanding of internet communication protocols
- Best practices in user interface and user experience design
- Designing and managing databases
- Querying data using SQL
- Proven ability to manage multiple assignments on accelerated schedules
- Skilled in Microsoft Office tools
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to craft effective innovative technical solutions
- Team player with excellent collaboration and communication skills
Other Requirements
- Consistent and dependable work attendance is expected
- Occasional after-hours participation may be needed for meetings or company functions
- Must be comfortable working for extended periods on a computer
- Capability to move around the facility and perform tasks such as lifting equipment (up to 50 lbs) standing bending climbing and walking
- Normal vision and hearing levels are necessary
Other Key Requirements:
- 100% onsite
- No sponsorships or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
- Could be remote or relocation depending on the candidate
- Bonus opportunity
- 3 rounds of interviews
- Role will report to the Application Supervisor who reports to the Director of Electrical Engineering
