Job Summary:
This role is for an MRI Technologist working a 6-on/7-off night shift schedule (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM) on a rotating schedule of Wednesday-Friday Sunday-Tuesday. The position requires weekend work and may involve floating between units within a short-term acute care hospital.

Responsibilities:
- Performing MRI scans on patients.
- Maintaining and operating MRI equipment.
- Preparing patients for MRI procedures.
- Adhering to safety protocols and radiation safety guidelines.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Completion of an accredited MRI Technology program.
- Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in operating MRI equipment and related software.
- Knowledge of MRI safety protocols and radiation safety guidelines.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in a hospital setting.
- Experience with various MRI techniques and protocols.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Special Considerations:
- Night shift (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM) 6 days on 7 days off.
- Rotating schedule: Wednesday-Friday Sunday-Tuesday.
- Weekend work required.
- No on-call requirements.
- Block scheduling is required.
- 1:1 patient ratio.
