Job Description

Job Summary:

This role is for a CT Technologist in a short-term acute care facility. The technologist will perform computed tomography (CT) scans adhering to established protocols and maintaining a high standard of patient care. Weekend work is required. Floating to X-ray may be necessary.
Location: Centralia Washington United States
Responsibilities:
- Performing CT scans according to established protocols.
- Preparing patients for scans and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintaining and cleaning CT equipment.
- Adhering to radiation safety protocols.
- Processing and managing images.
- Collaborating with other members of the radiology team.
- Potentially assisting in X-ray procedures.
- Maintaining accurate patient records.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Associates degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
- Current ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications.
- Current BLS certification.
- Active Washington State license.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a CT Technologist.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- None specified.
Special Considerations:
- Weekend work is required.
- Floating to X-ray may be required.
- On-call is not required.
- First-time travelers are accepted.
- Travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility are ineligible.
Scheduling:
- 4 ten-hour shifts per week.
- Weekend shifts are required.
- Specific shift assignments will be determined.
