Job Description
This Registered Nurse position requires a minimum of three years of experience and involves providing skilled nursing care in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting. The role includes on-call responsibilities and requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. Floating to other units within the hospital is also required.
- Patient assessments.
- Medication administration.
- Treatment planning.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
- Case management.
- Hospice care (if applicable based on patient needs).
- Responding to on-call requests.
- Floating to various units within the hospital as needed.
- Minimum of three years of hospital nursing experience.
- Clinical assessment skills.
- Medication administration skills.
- Treatment planning skills.
- Interdisciplinary team collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- BLS certification.
- Floating required to assist with cases in the Operating Room.
- Required to work on-site (RTO).
- On-call rotation as described above.
- No block scheduling accommodated.
