Job Summary:
This Medical Assistant position in an outpatient urology facility is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity for local candidates only. The Medical Assistant will provide clinical and administrative support within a fast-paced environment potentially floating between clinics. Experience in urology is preferred but adult outpatient clinic experience is required.

Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical support to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Assist with patient examinations and procedures.
- Administer medications as directed.
- Obtain and record patient vital signs and medical history.
- Prepare and sterilize medical instruments.
- Maintain patient records and charts using EPIC charting system.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
- May float between clinics within skillset.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Current Medical Assistant certification (MA-C).
- One year of experience in an adult outpatient clinic setting.
- Proficiency in EPIC charting.
- Valid Washington state Medical Assistant license.
- BLS certification.
- Reliable transportation.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in urology.
Special Considerations:
- This is a temporary-to-permanent position.
- In-person interview required.
- Local candidates only (within a 50-mile radius).
- No on-call requirements.
- Willingness to float between similar units and potentially different clinics.
- RTO restrictions to be confirmed with the hiring manager.
Scheduling:
- Five 8-hour days per week.
- Hours may range from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
- No weekend work required.
