Job Summary:
This full-time Pediatrics Registered Nurse position requires rotating 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 7:30 pm and rotating Saturday shifts from 7:45 am to 12:00 pm. The position involves floating to other pediatric sites as needed and provides a guaranteed 40 hours per week. The role focuses on providing skilled nursing care to pediatric patients.

Responsibilities:
- Providing skilled nursing care to pediatric patients.
- Patient assessments.
- Medication administration.
- Treatment planning.
- Collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Performing therapeutic procedures.
- Gathering and reporting patient data.
- Carrying out physician orders.
- Maintaining patient records.
- Assisting with routine activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Communicating patient status and reporting changes to licensed professionals.
- Performing designated patient care procedures (e.g. incentive spirometry pulse oximetry).
- Assisting in emergency situations.
- Maintaining and cleaning equipment.
- Performing clerical duties (e.g. answering phones data entry).
- Coordinating equipment/supply needs.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
- Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field.
- Clinical assessment medication administration and treatment planning skills.
- Interdisciplinary team collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum two years of hospital home health or hospice care experience (preferred but may be less depending on experience level).
- Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support).
- Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field.
