Water Damage Restoration Technician Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable hardworking and service-driven Restoration Technician to join our field team. This position focuses on property damage restoration including water mitigation mold remediation and fire/smoke damage cleanup and will also include carpet tile/grout upholstery cleaning activities.
The ideal candidate is customer focused hands-on detail-oriented thrives in fast-paced environments with a strong work ethic and great attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency calls for water mold and fire/smoke damage
- Perform water extraction structural drying and dehumidification
- Perform mold remediation (containment HEPA vacuuming demo etc.)
- Operate and maintain restoration equipment (air movers dehumidifiers HEPA air scrubbers)
- Set up containment and negative air environments
- Document job progress with moisture readings photos and digital job notes
- Provide professional courteous service to customers on-site
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE
- Work on an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies (as needed)
- Be available to do carpet tile/grout upholstery cleaning calls.
Required Qualifications
- IICRC Certification (WRT AMRT FSRT etc.)
- 1 year experience in property restoration demolition or construction required 5 years preferred
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs work in confined spaces attics or crawlspaces
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Comfortable using mobile apps to document work
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Strong Team player
Preferred Qualifications
- Experienced in Carpet Cleaning Tile/Grout Cleaning and Upholstery Cleaning
- Experience with Truck Mount and Portable systems.
- Texas Mold Remediation Contractor License
