Job Description

An urgent on-roll position for an IPQC (In-Process Quality Control) Engineer
Location - Ahmedabad.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues in real-time.

  • Identify non-conformities and implement corrective/preventive actions to eliminate defects.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Six Sigma Kaizen and 5S.

  • Utilize tools such as 8D Fishbone Diagram (Ishikawa) and 5-Why Analysis to identify the root cause of failures.

  • Maintain detailed records of quality inspections SOPs defects rework and corrective actions.

  • Ensure the calibration and maintenance of testing and measuring equipment.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Hands-on experience in in-process quality.

  • Good command of mechanical drawing reading.

  • Ability to work in shifts if required.

  • Proficiency in handling quality documents (i.e. Checklists SOPs QAPs).

  • SAP knowledge is essential.

  • Strong presentable command (communication and presentation skills).

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Preferred Industry:

  • Experience in the Switchgear industry is highly preferred.
