JOB TITLE: Electrical Solder Technician - 2nd Shift
LOCATION: Clearwater FL
PAY RATE: Up to $25/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.
Job Details:
Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Shift Hours: Monday Thursday 3:30 PM 2:00 AM EST (OT available on weekends)

Summary:
Strong soldering experience to assemble and test electrical components and systems.
Hands-on fabrication testing and collaboration within a fast-paced production environment.
Assemble electrical components and systems per schematics and specifications
Perform precision soldering (IPC 610/J-STD) on electrical assemblies
Use power and hand tools to fabricate and assemble parts
Conduct testing using ohmmeters and calipers
Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues
Maintain a clean organized and safe workspace
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Proven experience using soldering equipment
IPC 610/J-STD certification or experience required
Familiarity with surface mount technology (preferred)
Experience in mechanical and electrical assembly
Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics
Skilled in using power tools ohmmeters calipers and soldering tools
Ability to assemble fabricate and machine components as needed
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Good computer skills
Must be able to read and write English
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
