Job Description

Job Title: Senior Litigation Attorney / Senior Litigation Associate
Location: San Diego CA
Salary Range: $200000 $300000 based on experience plus bonuses


A rapidly growing Southern California-based Trust and Estates Litigation Law Firm is looking to hire a Senior Litigation Attorney / Senior Litigation Associate. The Senior Litigation Attorney / Senior Litigation Associate will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Leading and managing your own litigation caseload from intake to resolution.

  • Drafting strategic pleadings and strong motions with minimal oversight.

  • Taking and defending depositions; preparing for hearings and trials.

  • Communicating effectively with clients colleagues and the court.

  • Mentoring junior attorneys and contributing to firm-wide strategy sessions.

  • Collaborating seamlessly with any existing team members you bring onboard.

  • Managing full-cycle trust and estate litigation matters through trial/resolution.

  • Supervising and delegating to assigned paralegals and legal assistants.

  • Participating in regular case review meetings and trial strategy sessions.

  • Assisting in training and mentoring attorneys or legal staff as needed.

  • Collaborating across pods and offices to ensure consistent excellence and efficiency.

  • Working closely with any trusted professionals you integrate into our firm.

Requirements:

  • Active California Bar license in good standing.

  • 5 8 years of litigation experience including depositions court appearances and motion practice.

  • 2 years of dedicated trust and estate litigation experience.

  • Expert-level familiarity with the California Probate Code Code of Civil Procedure and Evidence Code.

  • Prior experience managing junior attorneys or paralegals is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Position Type: Full-Time / Exempt

  • Compensation Range: $200000 $300000 based on experience plus bonuses
