A well-established and highly respected New York litigation firm specializing in plaintiff-side personal injury medical malpractice and workers compensation cases is seeking a motivated Personal Injury Attorney to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will have 2–15 years of experience in personal injury law with a strong preference for plaintiff-side work and the ability to manage cases from intake through settlement or trial.
What you will be doing:

Conduct initial client consultations and evaluate potential personal injury claims

Investigate cases by reviewing accident reports medical records and witness statements
-
Coordinate with medical experts accident reconstructionists and other professionals
-
Draft legal documents including complaints motions and discovery requests
-
Negotiate with insurance carriers and opposing counsel to secure favorable settlements
-
Represent clients in court for hearings depositions and trials
-
Maintain consistent communication with clients and manage multiple active cases simultaneously
Experience you will need:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Active license to practice law in New York

2–15 years of experience in personal injury litigation ideally on the plaintiff side

Strong negotiation and courtroom advocacy skills

Proven ability to manage a litigation caseload independently
