Job Description
1. Focus on improving Logistics Operations efficiency through timely service to customers achieving high level of customer satisfaction
2. Managing Inbound & Out Bound Logistics both for Exports & Domestic orders
3. Experience in handling Pan India Operations managing teams across 3-5 locations
4. Responsible for building up fundamentals in logistics with respect to planning risks distribution & cost management
5. Should have experience in managing the overall freight spent of 3500 - 4000 Minr
6. Responsible for Scheduling & maintaining 98 and above reliability for customer dispatches to achieve customer satisfaction
7. Vendor Management Negotiation & Introduction of new vendors
8. Alignment with the sales team and tie up with vendor & liners for yearly volumes.
9. Monitoring of vendor performance using digital tools and drafting action plan to further improve the service levels
10. Digitalization of the complete supply chain from first mile to last mile. Ensure ease of process from order indenting to safe delivery at customer place.
11. Usage of artificial intelligence & data science for optimizing routes and freight cost
12. Understanding the empty reverse haul vehicles using AI tools to derive benefit of reverse logistics & freight cost
13. Mapping optimal routes in line with the sales planning for every quarter which helps in negotiation & resulting in savings of freight cost
14. Managing uncertainties sudden surge in orders seasonal gap in demand & supply and provide the best support to sales during the tough times
15. Proactive planning for the peak season with the fleet owners & aggregators.
16. Collaboration with several government & private agencies for the multimodal transport movement
17. Understand the emerging global best practices in logistics and adopting the same for betterment of service.
18. Focus on Green logistics and progress on scope 3 emission reduction
19. Monthly presentation to the management and review on service & freight
20. Ensure openness among the team members so that there is good bond between with the team members
21. Monthly MIS reporting and team review across the plants
