Manages and directs improvement in the quality of all aspects of the service business and activity including 400000 internal repair and reconditioning operations nationwide annually.
- Develop install and monitor control measures throughout the North American Service organization with special emphasis on the Walnut Ridge location. Establish and implement quality systems to continually monitor and assure compliance of reconditioned tools with quality specifications and processes at the NRC. Manages the Quality Management System and leads the Walnut Ridge location in maintaining the ISO9001:2015 site certification. Evaluate and solve quality problems expeditiously to avoid major production interruptions.
- Construct operate and maintain an effective reporting mechanism for quality information from returns repairs and customer feedback for analysis and distribution to other points within Power Tools to improve product and process quality. Interface regularly with PTNA Customer Quality and Safety functions to ensure that observed safety and quality issues receive proper attention and response. Design and develop improvement measures. Coordinates the collection and shipments of failure samples requested by Quality Engineers from different manufacturing facilities in products and components based on findings to improve process and product integrity.
- Create and support relevant customer satisfaction strategies in Service with the application of measurable quality improvement methods. Identify implement and oversee quality methods and processes throughout nationwide network of service centers that yield industry-best service quality performance.
- Responsible for the Internal Audit Program of the Wr facility. Direct the training and instruction of Quality Auditors to improve their performance. Develop and implement a program to train and educate production supervisors and operators in the use of quality process control techniques applicable to the NRC environment. Serve as Lead Auditor during Systems Audits including both Internal (BOSCH Auditors) and External (Non-BOSCH Auditors).
- Responsible for the Calibration of Equipment program of the facility. Supports the Service Centers with their Calibration of Equipment needs and requirements.
- Miscellaneous Duties and special projects as necessary or assigned.
Qualifications :
- Entry Level Direct Supervisory Experience
- 3-5 years experience in Quality manufacturing or engineering including statistical process control methods and management of information and reporting required
- 3-5 years experience in management of quality and or service in the Power Tool or other related business required
- Intermediate knowledge of corporate software packages in ERP and customer data

The U.S. annual salary range for this full-time position $77800 - $100000. Within the range individual pay is determined based on several factors including but not limited to work experience and job knowledge complexity of the role job location etc.
