Job Description
As a Senior Lecturer- Clinical Psychology youll use your experience and expertise to help tackle complex challenges in mental health education and community wellbeing. Heres how youll make it matter:
- Lead and deliver innovative evidence-based teaching and clinical supervision to shape the next generation of clinical psychologists.
- Conduct and publish impactful research with opportunities to lead and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
- Build meaningful relationships with industry and community to enhance student employability and influence professional practice.
- Mentor early career academics and higher degree research (HDR) candidates fostering a vibrant and supportive research culture.
- Contribute to program development and leadership advancing excellence in psychology education and scholarship.
About You

- A doctoral qualification in clinical psychology or a closely related field.
- Registration as a psychologist with the Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with an area of practice endorsement in clinical psychology.
- Qualified to provide supervision as per the requirements of the Psychology Board of Australia.
- A track record of high-quality research with evidence of impact and ability to attract research funding.
- Experience in academic leadership including course coordination curriculum development and mentoring of colleagues and students.

This is a continuing full time position primarily based either at Griffith University Brisbane South or Gold Coast campuses. As Griffith is a multi-site University you will be required to work across other locations.
Griffith Universitys sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul Yuggera Jagera Turrbal Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be Senior Lecturer (CSL) range $138702 - $159936 per annum 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $162281 - $187125 per annum.
