Team description
We are the Business Continuity Management (BCM) team. We develop applications that help safeguard critical business functions from disruptionssuch as cyberattacks natural disasters or system outagesand enable rapid recovery of operations.
Summary of role
In this role youll primarily collaborate with developers and quality engineers to build both the front end and back end of applications on the ServiceNow platform. The front end is an in-house solution built on top of React while the back end uses JavaScript along with our proprietary ORM GlideRecord. For testing we use Java Selenium and Jenkins. Youll also work closely with Product Management to help shape the direction and functionality of the product.

Qualifications :
To be successful in this role you have:
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes decision-making or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools automating workflows analyzing AI-driven insights or exploring AIs potential impact on the function or industry.
- 0 - 2 years of work experience in software development
- Achieved no higher than a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Software Engineering or related field
- Experience with debugging and testing software through a CI lifecycle
- Experience with Java and/or Python C/C OOP and Design Patterns
- Experience with front-end technologies (HTML JavaScript CSS)
- Some working knowledge and ability to use tools to assist with daily tasks (IDE debugger build tools source control ServiceNow instances profilers system administration/Unix tools)
- experience with React Jenkins and/or Selenium is a plus

For positions in this location we offer a base pay of $117000 plus equity (when applicable) variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications skill level competencies and work location. We also offer health plans including flexible spending accounts a 401(k) Plan with company match ESPP matching donations a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
