What Youll Do
As Sol de Janeiro is rapidly growing and expanding we are looking for a PR & Influencer Assistant Manager - EU to support & manage Sol de Janeiro EU (except DACH PL NL) PR Influence & event strategy for the EU Marketing Manager. This position is a permanent contract and is based in Paris.
This role will report to the EU Marketing Manager
What Youll Be Working On
Organic & PAID Influencer & Press Strategy Development & Execution
Collaborate with local PR agencies (France Italy Spain Belgium & Nordics) to implement both organic and paid influencer campaigns.
Customize international influencer briefs to align with local market needs & new social platform trends.
Initiate influencer casting ensuring the selection of profiles that resonate with our brand identity & campaign targets as well as reviewing and approving content.
Proactively search for new content creators in each key market.
Monitor campaign performance against established KPIs and compile comprehensive reports.
Work closely with our retailers & distributors to orchestrate collaborations define guidelines & approvals on all PR & influencers-related activities.
Assess campaign outcomes through KPIs and provide detailed reports.
Coordinate the creation and production of seeding mailers.
Event Production & Execution Management:
Develop the PR & Influencer event strategy for the brand in collaboration with Marketing Manager.
Collaborate with event agencies Sol de Janeiros creative & VM teams and retailers to coordinate PR & influencer events from briefing to production & execution.
Ensure all events are executed seamlessly reflecting the brands image and objectives.
Assess event outcomes through KPIs and provide detailed reports.
Strategic Initiatives & Ad-Hoc Projects:
Explore and evaluate emerging platforms & creators.
Cultivate relationships with new KOLs to expand our influencer network.
Develop innovative PR strategies to enhance brand awareness and reputation.
Contribute fresh creative ideas for new launches working alongside external partners (like TikTok Influencers agencies etc.) to ensure increased efficiency.
Competition Trend & Business Study:
Monitor the competitive landscape across EU markets to identify key players best-performing influencer & PR strategies product launches and brand activations in the beauty industry.
Analyze emerging trends in digital platforms content formats and creator behaviors.
Deliver regular benchmarking reports and strategic recommendations to support brand differentiation and local adaptation across markets.
Monitoring Reporting and Budget Assistance:
Regularly monitor Influencer & PR coverage via our content tracking platforms.
Create and maintain detailed reports on PR and influencer activities.
Assist in budget planning and management to ensure cost-efficient campaign execution.
Must Haves
Minimum 3 years experience in PR & Influencer preferably in retail/cosmetics/luxury goods.
Proven track record of managing successful influencer campaigns and PR events.
Strong understanding of current social media platforms trends and analytics.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Open to travel across Europe and the United States.
Rigor autonomy organization adaptability and proactivity are essentials for the job.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills. Capacity to work in a multi-cultural and fast-paced environment.
Business School or University Masters Graduate with a major in Business Management or Marketing.
Must be comfortable working a hybrid schedule (1-3 days per week in our Paris Office)
Required Language Proficiency: English fluency is a must
