About Us:LABBB Collaborative provides educational programming and support services for over 300 special needs students from over 65 districts. LABBB serves students ages 3 to 22 years old with a variety of special needs including students on the autism spectrum students with multi-handicaps pervasive development disorders developmental delays language deficits and social/emotional challenges. The LABBB community has a vision of skill-based instruction that considers the whole student from early childhood to adult living. About the role: This position is designed to support students who are taking a college course(s). The Teacher Assistant (Educational Coach) will support the students on the Middlesex Community College (MCC) Bedford MA campus as they attend classes and complete course requirements. The educational coach will support/teach community safety aspects of travel training and various skills related to transition readiness.

Job Requirements:High School Diploma with a minimum of 2 years college experience (preferably in a related field) Related field experience working with students with disabilitiesSensitivity to student needs concerns and individual issues as well as flexibility patience and high professional integrityStrong verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrate ability to work with diverse populations of studentsEnergetic self-starter who can complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced to maintain strict confidentialityTechnological competency on a variety of platforms (Blackboard Google Suite socialmedia etc.)

Responsibilities:Support the inclusion of students with intellectual disabilities in college classes at Middlesex Community College (MCC) in virtual and/or in-person classes with students Follow college calendar: working during LABBB school vacations professional days etc. Serve as academic tutor when needed Assist students in accessing college services and resources Support students development of independence social awareness language academic skills and appropriate college behavior Uphold LABBBs mission and core values as well as adhere to laws policies procedures and ethical standards of the field and contribute to a positive and safe school culture.

Salary Range: $43475 to $59892 commensurate with experience and education. *2025-2026 Salary range is for school year and includes compensation for required 4-week summer program.
