Job Description
Looking for a strategic IT leadership role with real impact
As IT Manager for Ford Credit Italia & Ford Italia youll lead all local IT operations and act as the key interface between business teams global IT and external partners covering Italy and Greece. This is a high-visibility role with cross-functional exposure and a direct impact on digital transformation.
Youll manage the full IT landscape for over 300 users across Rome and Athens including infrastructure cybersecurity end-user services dealer systems and project management. Youll ensure Fords global standards are implemented locally while adapting to market-specific needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day IT operations in Italy and Greece including Cyber Security Collaboration Tools PC Renewal Lifecycle Networking & Infrastructure
- Act as the single point of contact for all local IT needs connecting business stakeholders global IT functions and external vendors
- Manage and monitor IT service providers (Dealer Service Providers (DSPs) Internet Service Providers (ISPs) vendors) ensuring contract performance and alignment with global standards
- Support and coordinate local implementation of global IT initiatives platforms and compliance requirements
- Provide technical guidance for business and dealer systemsf incl. certificates of conformity and telecom management
- Represent the region in Change Advisory Boards help prioritize IT initiatives and ensure timely delivery of critical projects
Qualifications
- Degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years of experience in IT operations service management and tech project delivery
- Proven leadership record with excellent communication & stakeholder management skills experience of working with both local and international teams
- Strong technical foundation with working knowledge of IT infrastructure Microsoft platforms Google Cloud Hosting SharePoint Cyber Security and ITIL best practices
- Experience in IT security and controls DORA expertise preferable
- Ability to manage complexity prioritize effectively and communicate tech topics clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Fluent in Italian and English (spoken and written)
- Valid drivers license and willingness to occasionally travel within the region
