Are you a hands-on maintenance leader with a passion for driving uptime leading high-performing teams and improving operations in a food manufacturing environment Archer Meat Snacksthe 4th largest meat snack brand in the looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our growing team at our Vernon CA plant.
As Maintenance Supervisor you will play a key role in leading daily maintenance operations owning preventative maintenance processes and partnering cross-functionally to drive plant efficiency. Youll oversee and develop a team of technicians while ensuring Archers equipment is running safely and reliably in a fast-paced production environment.
This is a critical high-impact role at the heart of our operations. Were looking for someone who is solutions-oriented team-driven and ready to lead with accountability and integrity.
What Youll Own & Impact:
Provide daily leadership to the maintenance team and ensure safe effective execution of all work
Oversee preventative maintenance compliance and ensure uptime across key production assets
Collaborate with operations quality and leadership to troubleshoot issues and reduce downtime
Track and analyze maintenance performance metrics and lead improvements in processes and systems
Assist in the collection and review of equipment data including run rates downtime and changeovers
Support development of SOPs in partnership with Quality and Operations teams
Create a strong culture of safety accountability and continuous improvement across your team
Contribute to plant productivity and cost reduction by identifying and implementing operational improvements
What Sets You Apart:
5 years of maintenance experience in food manufacturing
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience (intermediate to advanced)
Understanding of preventative maintenance systems and Lean principles
Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint)
Strong communicator and people leader with ability to build trust across teams
Associate degree trade school certification or equivalent experience required
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
