Job Description

As Strategic Talent Acquisition Specialist youll be a vital contributor to our Pre-Award staffing efforts ensuring that our company is well prepared to meet the demands of new contracts and projects. This role requires a proactive and strategic thinker who can effectively identify and engage top-tier talent in the IT and government contracting sectors.

What youll do:

  • Market Research and Planning
  • Reporting and Strategy Refinement
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams
  • Professional Development and Networking
  • Database and Record Keeping
  • Candidate Sourcing
  • Candidate Screening and Engagement
  • Interview Coordination
  • Candidate Management and Onboarding

What youll need to succeed:

  • Minimum of 3 years of talent acquisition experience preferably within the IT or government contracting sectors.
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field; OR equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in sourcing recruiting and placing highly cleared candidates for federal contracts.
  • Familiarity with labor laws and government contracting regulations including OFCCP compliance.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with candidates and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while also being a collaborative team player.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel up 20-25% of the year.

SALARY RANGE: $69000 - $119000

The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications skills and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:

  • The candidates professional background and relevant work experience
  • The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
  • Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
  • This role is also eligible for additional compensation subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar which may include:
    • Performance-based bonuses
    • Company-paid training and/or certifications
    • Referral bonuses
