Join ourPaper Operations Teamand play a key role inmanaging and improving process control systemsfrom raw materials to finished products. This is an exciting opportunity to lead projects optimize production efficiency and drive innovation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What you will do:
- Manage and complete projects of varying sizes and durations
- Coordinate with engineers technicians and designers to optimize processes
- Lead process failure investigations and implement long-term solutions
- Conduct feasibility studies for fabrication and processing improvements
- Assist with assembly and disassembly of process equipment
- Troubleshoot and implement engineering solutions to enhance operations
- Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for equipment and processes
- Work closely with production teams to improve efficiency and product quality
- Create test parameters and analyze performance data for process optimization
- Develop and execute continuous improvement plans
- Mentor and guide junior engineers
What you will bring:
- Bachelors degree with an emphasis in engineering or related field of study and three (3) years of related engineering experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Experience analyzing production equipment processes and materials and solving issues
- Proven experience in project management
- Strong coordination and leadership skills
- Ability to conduct feasibility studies and troubleshoot engineering issues
- Experience in developing SOPs and continuous improvement plans
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time additional travel may be required during critical projects or business demands
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid drivers license and passport
- Valid drivers license and favorable motor vehicle report upon hire
