Field Sales Manager, Groundwater- Southeast

What is the job about

The Field Sales Manager will act as a Warranty Warrior a proactive customer-facing champion dedicated to minimizing non-warranty product returns and enhancing warranty processing across partner locations. Serving as a vital link between the company and its distribution partners this individual will ensure robust training accurate data management and the execution of strategic educational initiatives to drive tangible improvements in warranty performance.This position reports to the Area Sales Director Water UtilityUSA & Canada. This position will have an ongoing interface and interactions with the partners contractors and other stakeholders. This position is located in the Southeast USA and is remote. One must reside in the Southeast USA.

Your main responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Partner Engagement:

• Identify and prioritize high-volume warranty partner locations for focused engagement.
• Develop and maintain a regional map of warranty activity to guide planning and resource allocation.

Warranty Data Management:

• Assist partners in uploading and maintaining accurate warranty statistics.
• Audit warranty data for completeness and accuracy providing feedback and support as needed.

Training & Education:

• Conduct on-site training sessions at partner locations on proper warranty submission procedures.
• Assess training needs for high-warranty product lines and develop targeted educational materials to help reduce warranty.
• Educate partners on the distinction between warranty and non-warranty products to reduce incorrect returns.

Dealer Performance Improvement:

• Identify dealers with high rates of non-warranty returns.
• Collaborate with partners to implement dealer-specific training plans aimed at reducing non-warranty submissions through proper installation and product selection techniques.
• Monitor dealer performance post-training and adjust strategies as needed.
• Grow sales with dealers due to increased product knowledge and strengthening of relationship between Grundfos and those dealers.

Event Coordination & Continuing Education:

• Identify and participate in regional industry events to host continuing education classes.
• Develop and deliver presentations that reinforce best practices in warranty identification and submission.

Your background

We imagine that you have:

• Bachelors degree in engineering business or other relevant discipline. Will consider 5 years of Field experience in lieu of a degree;ANDa minimum of 5-years with proven successful experience selling servicing or installing submersible pumpsin the field.
• Demonstrable knowledge of the Groundwater market and established experience selling in the market.
• High level of technical knowledge specifically around Groundwater Products
• Knowledgeable and experienced in building Sales channel partnerships.
• Demonstrable ambition with a readiness to take on significant responsibilities and drive growth and able to work independently.
• Exceptional communication skills capable of presenting technical concepts and essential Groundwater solution values to small and large audiences composed of engineers operations.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail focused on timely tracking of Opportunities.
• A willingness to travel up to 50% if necessary. As a result candidates should be able to maintain valid identification.

The pay range for this position is $78931.00USD $114683.00USD. Actual pay will depend upon skill set experience and location. Grundfos salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in the Southeast region.
