Make an impact About the Role:
As a Production Team Leader you will play a vital role in enhancing the opportunities of our employees while ensuring commercial outcomes are achieved. With your natural ability to lead with empathy you will oversee and guide employees that we support to meet their employment goals ensuring their work aligns with their skills aspirations and NDIS plans while delivering exceptional production outcomes.
In this role you will be motivating mentoring and supervising a team of supported employees as they work within the worksite.
Other daily tasks are to:
- Motivate and mentor a diverse workforce fostering a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with WHS policies and procedures.
- Supervise and guide employees that we support to meet Ndis goals and commercial outcomes.
- Promote positive behaviour support and a collaborative team culture.
- Conduct skills training assessments and performance reviews in collaboration with Employment Coaches.
- Ensure production meets customer expectations regarding quality delivery timeframes and business requirements.
- Monitor operations to ensure they meet production standards making adjustments to process as needed.
What you can bring to the team
- Disability experience prefered
- Hand on Labourer experience - Previous experience in a production environment with a proven ability to coordinate projects and delegate activities to a diverse team.
- Experience in disability support will be highly regarded. Ability to supervise and Mentor supported employees.
- Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check (Blue Card) NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work) and an open Drivers License.
