Job Description
Saint Leo the Great Catholic School is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to serve as a Middle School Teacher for the 2025-26 school year. Candidates will possess a deep devotion to the Catholic faith and love working with children fostering and strengthening students relationship with Christ. At Saint Leo we strive to answer the call to greatness; live with gratitude and compassion; focus on the whole child; make learning a way of life; and work together as a community.
Middle School teachers are responsible for building upon the academic and spiritual foundation acquired in elementary school and bridging students to be prepared for high school. The primary fields of study would be English Social Studies and Religion. The ideal candidate will implement a comprehensive instructional program administer feedback for growth and offer a daily and positive witness of his or her faith. He/She must possess strong classroom management skills provide effective communication with parents and should be passionate about teaching and have a love for students. Middle School comprises Sixth Seventh and Eighth Grades. Candidates must possess or be eligible for certification/licensure in Virginia or through VCEA.
